It delivers a 14+2 DrMOS power stage design with ProCool sockets and military-grade TUF components. Builders get an ATX form factor with comprehensive cooling including VRM heatsink, PCH fanless heatsink and M.2 heatsink.

PCIe 4.0 and DDR4 3200 define the throughput ceiling

The Z590 chipset enables one PCI Express 4.0 x16 slot and one PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot alongside two PCI Express x1 slots. Memory tops out at DDR4 3200 across four 288-pin slots in dual-channel mode with a maximum capacity of 128 GB. Storage connectivity includes six SATA 6Gb/s ports and three M.2 sockets. Networking uses Intel WiFi 6 AX201 and Intel I225-V 2.5Gb LAN.
