Socket and chipset

The board uses an LGA 1200 socket paired with the Intel Z590 chipset. It accepts 10th Gen and 11th Gen Intel Core processors plus Pentium Gold and Celeron CPUs. Four DDR4 slots support up to 128 GB of memory in dual-channel mode.

PCIe lane limits

The primary PCIe x16 slot runs at 4.0 with an 11th Gen CPU and at 3.0 with a 10th Gen CPU. Two additional x16 slots operate at 3.0 from the chipset. Three M.2 interfaces and six SATA ports share the remaining chipset bandwidth.

Build and I/O

A 2.5 Gbps Intel LAN controller and a Realtek ALC4080 7.1 audio codec handle networking and sound. The rear panel includes a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 20 Gbps Type-C port plus multiple Type-A ports. Internal headers supply further USB 3.2 Gen 1 and Gen 2 connections. The package provides the board, a CMOS battery, one SATA cable, an I/O shield and a WiFi antenna.
