Registered RDIMM with ECC

The 288-pin RDIMM uses a registered buffer and 2Rx8 organisation to reduce electrical load on the memory controller. ECC circuitry detects and corrects single-bit errors during operation. No heat spreader is fitted, so airflow in the server chassis manages module temperature directly.

DDR4 3200 interface limits

The DDR4 3200 standard caps transfer rates at 3200 MT/s and bandwidth at PC4-25600. CL22 latency is fixed by the module SPD and cannot be tightened without exceeding specification. Registered signalling adds one clock cycle of delay compared with unbuffered modules. Voltage is fixed at 1.20 V.
