The XPG GAMMIX S70 Blade delivers 2TB of storage in the M.2 2280 form factor. It connects through a PCI-Express 4.0 x4 interface running NVMe 1.4. Sequential reads reach up to 7400 MBps on a PC or laptop and up to 6100 MBps on a PS5. Sequential writes hit up to 6800 MBps with 750,000 IOPS for random 4KB reads and writes.
A thin aluminium heatsink is pre-fitted, raising the module height to 4.30 mm while the bare PCB measures 3.30 mm. The sink spreads heat during sustained workloads so the controller stays within its 0 °C to 70 °C operating range. No extra mounting hardware or thermal pads are required. The drive weighs 10.00 g with the heatsink and 7.00 g without it.
3D NAND flash is rated for 1480 terabytes written and a mean time between failures of 2,000,000 hours. Shock resistance is specified at 1500G for 0.5 ms. The M.2 2280 key‑M connector fits standard motherboard slots and the PS5 expansion bay. Width is 25.20 mm and depth is 80.00 mm. Storage temperature spans -40 °C to 85 °C.
