This silver aluminium enclosure converts a single M.2 SATA SSD into a USB 3.2 Gen 2 external drive. It accepts 2280 modules with B key or B+M key and is not compatible with NVMe devices. The included dual-headed cable provides USB-C to A and USB-C to C connections for broad host compatibility.

The USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface supports a theoretical throughput of 480 MB/s, matching the 6 Gbps SATA link speed of the installed SSD. UASP and TRIM pass-through maintain consistent performance during long sequential reads or writes rather than throttling after a short burst.

Thermals and power

The all-aluminium chassis acts as a cooling vest that wraps the SSD on all sides, while CNC-cut stripes increase the surface area for heat dissipation. No fan is present, so operation is silent and power draw is limited to what the host USB port supplies.
