Capacity and Fit

This 32 GB kit contains two 16 GB DDR4 ECC UDIMM modules built for the Synology RackStation RS2821RP+. Each stick runs at 2666 MHz with CL19 latency at 1.2 V and uses a 2Rx8 rank layout. The unbuffered design matches the NAS memory slots without requiring registered DIMM support.

Sustained Operation

ECC circuitry corrects single-bit errors on the fly, preventing silent data corruption during long compute or storage workloads. The JEDEC-standard timings and 1.2 V operation keep power draw steady, so the modules maintain rated speed inside a densely populated chassis without thermal throttling. No heat spreaders are fitted, relying on system airflow for cooling.

Platform Limits

The kit is validated for the RS2821RP+ and will down-clock automatically to 2133 MHz or 2400 MHz if the memory controller demands it. Systems that require registered or load-reduced DIMMs cannot use these unbuffered modules. Builders needing more than 32 GB must populate additional slots with identical specification memory.
