Capacity and headroom

A 500 GB internal hard drive stores master images for repeat runs, while 128 MB of buffer memory helps prevent underruns during high-speed burns. The unit writes BD-R at 14X and BD-R DL at 12X, but BD-RE and BD-RE DL are limited to 2X. DVD+R reaches 16X and CD-R peaks at 48X, giving ample throughput for standard office workloads.

Network and USB 3.0 interface

The defining feature is built-in Ethernet that allows remote job submission across a local network, removing the need to stand at the machine.
