The VinPower SharkNet-3T-BD-BK is a standalone Blu-ray, DVD and CD duplicator that runs without a host computer. It targets one source to three recorders simultaneously, making it suited for small workgroups that need physical media copies on demand. Network connectivity lets users send jobs from any PC on the LAN.

Capacity and headroom

A 500 GB internal hard drive stores master images for repeat runs, while 128 MB of buffer memory helps prevent underruns during high-speed burns. The unit writes BD-R at 14X and BD-R DL at 12X, but BD-RE and BD-RE DL are limited to 2X. DVD+R reaches 16X and CD-R peaks at 48X, giving ample throughput for standard office workloads.

Network and USB 3.0 interface

The defining feature is built-in Ethernet that allows remote job submission across a local network, removing the need to stand at the machine. A USB 3.0 port provides a direct high-speed link for one-off transfers or firmware updates.
