BZBGEAR 12x PTZ NDI streaming camera

The BZBGEAR BG-UPTZ-ND12X-W is a white 2-megapixel PTZ network camera built for live streaming and production. It outputs 1080p at 60 frames per second through HDMI, 3G-SDI, USB 3.0 and IP simultaneously. The 1/2.8-inch progressive CMOS sensor pairs with a 12x optical zoom lens covering 72.5° to 6.3°. NDI 4.0 and PoE simplify cabling for studio or remote workflows.

Upgrade from fixed webcams or basic IP cameras

This model replaces static wide-angle webcams and entry-level IP cameras that lack optical zoom or multi-output flexibility. The jump is worth it when you need simultaneous HDMI, SDI, USB and NDI feeds, 255 preset positions, or direct RTMP(S) streaming to platforms without a separate encoder. It also supersedes setups that require separate power bricks because PoE delivers power over the LAN cable.

Installation notes and common pitfalls

Mount the 178 × 115.5 × 150.9 mm body on a wall or ceiling and connect a single Cat cable for PoE, video and control. Configure the static IP or DHCP reservation before joining the NDI network, and match the 12 V DC supply if PoE is unavailable. Common issues include forgetting to enable NDI|HX in the web UI, exceeding the 340° pan limit during preset programming, and mismatching RS-232/485 baud rates with third-party controllers.
