The system targets midsize and large enterprises running data warehouses, VDI, databases or HPC data nodes.

PERC H730 controller and quad-port networking

A Dell PERC H730 1 GB mini controller provides 12 Gb/s SAS and SATA connectivity with battery-backed cache and supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 plus pass-through. Eight 800 GB enterprise SATA SSDs occupy all front 2.5-inch bays. An Intel X520/I350 daughter card adds two 1 GbE and two 10 Gb SFP+ ports. iDRAC 8 Enterprise enables full remote management.
