The iStarUSA D-414 is a 4U rackmount server chassis built around a 14-slot passive backplane that accepts full-length and full-height add-in cards. It targets industrial computing tasks such as data acquisition, automation and analysis where long-term expandability and continuous operation are required.

Drive bay layout and expansion headroom

Four external 5.25-inch bays, one external 3.5-inch bay and two internal 3.5-inch bays provide room for removable media, hot-swap trays or fixed storage.
