The myVolts E6B2-CWZ6C is a 38mm incremental encoder built for position and speed feedback in automation systems. It operates on a DC5-26V supply and delivers 1000 pulses per revolution through A, B and Z phase outputs. The alloy shell and aluminium body house internal ASIC devices for reliable signal transmission. A stainless steel spindle and metal housing provide mechanical durability in demanding environments.

Replaces worn or lower-resolution encoders

Upgrading from a unit with fewer pulses per revolution improves positioning granularity when the controller can use the higher count. The jump is worthwhile when the application demands finer speed regulation or tighter closed-loop accuracy. The encoder also supersedes devices lacking built-in short-circuit and reverse-wiring protection, reducing the risk of field failures caused by wiring errors. It supports the same 2m cable length and 6mm shaft diameter as many legacy models.

Fits compact machine frames and existing wiring

The small footprint and light weight allow installation in tight enclosures without redesigning mounting brackets.
