Exact-match server upgrade

This 576GB kit contains six 96GB DDR5 4800 Registered ECC RDIMMs built for the Supermicro H14DST-F motherboard. The 2Rx4 organisation, 1.10V operating voltage and CL40 timing match the board's memory controller requirements so the full capacity is recognised at rated speed. It is not suited to workstations or desktops that accept only unbuffered UDIMM modules.

Thermals and power

Registered buffering reduces the electrical load on the memory controller, allowing all slots to run fully populated without signal degradation. The 1.10V DDR5 baseline keeps per-module power draw low, and the absence of a heat spreader means airflow across the bare PCB handles normal server chassis cooling. No active cooling or extra voltage headroom is required for standard operation.

Build and connectors

Each module uses the 288-pin RDIMM form factor keyed for DDR5 server boards, so it cannot be inserted into UDIMM or SODIMM slots. The six-DIMM kit fills a typical multi-channel population sequence, but the exact slot order must follow the motherboard manual. Samsung, Micron or Hynix major-OEM DRAM chips are used depending on supply, all meeting the same registered ECC specification.
