Metered vertical PDU for 30 A three-phase feeds

The Tripp Lite PDUMV30HV2 is a 0 U vertical power distribution unit rated for 5.8 kW at 208/240 V single-phase input. It accepts a NEMA L6-30P plug on a 10 ft cord and delivers power through 40 IEC C13 and 8 IEC C19 outlets split across two metered load banks. Dual digital current meters on the front panel report output current for each bank so operators can balance loads in real time. The unit ships with plug-lock inserts, mounting hardware and a ground screw for secure rack installation.

Two 20 A breakers protect each outlet bank

Overload protection is provided by a pair of 20 A circuit breakers, one dedicated to Bank 1 and the other to Bank 2, limiting continuous draw to 24 A per agency derating. This breaker arrangement is the single specification that determines whether the PDU matches a facility’s branch-circuit design; each bank serves 20 C13 and 4 C19 outlets, so any rack plan must stay within the 20 A per-bank limit. The input connector, voltage range and breaker ratings are fixed and cannot be altered in the field.

Fanless convection cooling in 0 °C to 50 °C

The PDU operates without fans, relying on passive convection within the stated temperature range of 0 °C to 50 °C and relative humidity of 5 % to 95 % non-condensing. Rated for elevations up to 3000 m, it adds no audible noise to the rack environment and draws only the power required by connected equipment. Certifications include UL/CAN 60950-1, NOM, FCC Class A and TAA compliance, with RoHS adherence confirmed.
