Seven-Port PCIe USB 3.2 Expansion
This Vszerda add-on card adds seven USB 3.2 ports to a desktop PC through a single PCI Express slot. It provides two USB Type-C and five USB Type-A connectors for attaching drives, input devices, cameras and other peripherals. The card fits x1, x4, x8 or x16 slots and works with Windows 7 through 11 and Mac OS 10.8.2 or newer. No driver is required for Windows 10 or 11 or for Mac OS and Linux.
Bandwidth Limits and Protocol Constraints
The seven ports share two 10 Gbps channels for a total of 20 Gbps bandwidth. Each port can reach 10 Gbps when used alone, but simultaneous transfers divide the available throughput. The card does not support Power Delivery fast charging, video output or Thunderbolt protocol, so it cannot drive displays or fast-charge laptops. Windows XP, Vista, 7 and Server editions need a driver install before the ports become active.
PCIe Slot Requirement
Installation requires a free PCI Express slot of any width from x1 to x16 on a motherboard compatible with PCIe 2.0 or 3.0. Systems without an open slot cannot use this card, and the bandwidth ceiling is set by the host slot generation.

שאלות על הפריט הזה
Should I pick the version with five Type-A and two Type-C ports or the one with four Type-A and three Type-C?
The card described here has five USB Type-A ports and two USB Type-C ports.
What does the 10 Gbps per-port rate mean when I plug in several drives at once?
Ports are grouped so one Type-C and three Type-A share 10 Gbps, while the remaining three ports share a second 10 Gbps pool, giving 20 Gbps total bandwidth.
Does the PCIe 3.0 x1 slot cap the 20 Gbps total throughput?
A PCIe 3.0 x1 link provides roughly 8 Gbps usable bandwidth, so the slot will limit the card's combined 20 Gbps potential.
