This new tower desktop targets professionals who need high multi-threaded throughput for rendering, compilation or simulation workloads. The Intel Core i9-14900K delivers 24 cores and 32 threads with a maximum turbo frequency of 6.00 GHz. Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR5 memory and a 1 TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive provide ample capacity for large datasets. Integrated Intel graphics drive display output via HDMI and DisplayPort.

Liquid Cooling and Z790 Connectivity

A 360 mm quiet-edition AIO cooler handles the CPU thermal load inside a Corsair 4000D tempered-glass chassis. The Z790 PRIME motherboard supplies rear I/O with one USB Type-C, one USB 3.2 Gen 2, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 and four USB 2.0 ports, plus mid-board headers for one USB Type-C, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 and two USB 2.0. Networking includes Intel 2.5Gb Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6 and BLUETOOTH 5.2. Internal expansion offers three M.2 slots and four SATA 6Gb/s connectors alongside two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch drive bays.

Thermals, Noise and Power Draw

The 360 mm liquid loop and a 140 mm low-noise chassis fan keep the 24-core processor within operating limits during sustained workloads. A Thermaltake Smart 850W 80 PLUS Bronze unit with Japanese main capacitors delivers power with over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit protection. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit ships pre-installed without bloatware. The system is assembled and tested with a three-year parts and labour warranty.
