Tri-mode gaming mouse for right-hand users
The ASUS ROG Chakram X Origin is a right-handed gaming mouse built for palm and fingertip grips. It connects through wired USB 2.0, low-latency 2.4 GHz RF or Bluetooth 5.2. The ROG AimPoint optical sensor covers 100 to 36000 DPI with an 8000 Hz polling rate. Eleven programmable buttons and a four-way joystick give extensive macro options for competitive play.
Detachable joystick and hot-swap switches change
A detachable analog joystick adds four directional inputs that can be mapped separately from the seven primary buttons. The Push-Fit Switch Socket II accepts both 3-pin mechanical and 5-pin optical micro switches, letting users alter click force without soldering. Two spare 3-pin switches are included in the package. The 2 m paracord cable and PTFE feet reduce drag during wired use.
Plug-and-play on Windows 10
The mouse works immediately on Windows 10 and Windows 11 without extra drivers for basic functions. The wireless receiver plugs into the supplied USB RF extender adaptor for clearer signal path. Some users find the joystick attachment loose during fast swipes, and the 11-button layout can feel crowded for smaller hands. Button remapping requires the Armoury Crate software suite.
