The ASUS ROG Strix Scope RX EVA Edition is a full-size wired gaming keyboard finished in a purple and black Evangelion colour scheme. Transparent keycaps on the Esc and F12 keys plus a water-transfer printed spacebar complete the themed aesthetic. It uses ROG RX Red Optical Mechanical Switches rated for a 100-million-keystroke lifespan. An alloy top cover adds structural rigidity.

USB 2.0 Passthrough and IP57 Checks

Verify that your system has a spare USB 2.0 port for the keyboard connection and a second USB 2.0 port if you intend to use the integrated passthrough for charging or external storage. The IP57 rating certifies dust and water resistance, but the keyboard is not designed for immersion beyond the rated depth or duration. No software installation is required for basic operation, though the Armoury Crate utility unlocks per-key RGB customisation and macro programming.

Sustained Gaming Behaviour

Optical actuation delivers consistent, wobble-free keystrokes without the contact bounce that can appear on mechanical switches after extended use. The alloy top plate resists flex during long sessions, and the IP57 seal prevents dust ingress that could degrade switch feel over time. Per-key RGB lighting with a central LED design maintains even illumination across the board during prolonged operation. The quick-toggle switch lets you swap between function and media layers without interrupting gameplay.
