Combo ready for AI workloads

The bundle pairs an ASUS TUF GAMING X870-PLUS WIFI motherboard with an AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D processor. The board uses the AMD X870 chipset and AM5 socket, supporting Ryzen 9000, 8000 and 7000 series CPUs. Four DDR5 slots accept up to 256 GB of memory at 4400 MT/s with dual-channel operation and EXPO profiles. The 12-core CPU brings 128 MB of L3 cache, 12 MB of L2 cache and integrated Radeon graphics within a 120 W envelope.

PCIe 5.0 and USB4 set the ceiling

A single PCIe 5.0 x16 slot runs at x16 with Ryzen 9000 and 7000 processors, dropping to x8 or x4 with 8000 series chips. Two M.2 slots operate at PCIe 5.0 x4 and two more at PCIe 4.0 x4, all Key M 2280. Rear I/O includes two USB4 ports at 40 Gbps, three USB 10 Gbps Type-A, four USB 5 Gbps Type-A and one USB 2.0 port. Networking uses Wi-Fi 7 and a Realtek 2.5 Gb Ethernet controller, while audio runs through a Realtek ALC1220P 7.1 codec.

Power delivery built for sustained loads

The VRM uses a 16+2+1 phase design with 80 A SPS stages on an eight-layer PCB, fed by ProCool connectors, alloy chokes and durable capacitors. Cooling headers include a 4-pin CPU fan, CPU OPT, AIO pump, four chassis fans and a dedicated W_PUMP+ header. Three addressable Gen 2 headers drive RGB strips. Front-panel USB gains a 20 Gbps Type-C connector with 30 W power delivery plus a 5 Gbps header and two USB 2.0 headers. SATA 6 Gbps ports remain available alongside the M.2 array.
