The ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER OC Edition is a graphics card built for 1440p gaming and creative workloads. It uses the NVIDIA Ada Lovelace architecture with 7168 CUDA cores and 12GB of GDDR6X memory on a 192-bit bus. The card connects via PCI Express 4.0 and draws up to 250W through a single 16-pin power connector. A 750W power supply is recommended for stable operation.

Sustained load thermal behaviour

Under continuous load the triple axial-tech fans move 21% more airflow than previous designs while dual ball bearings extend bearing life. Military-grade capacitors rated for 20K hours at 105C keep the power delivery stable during long sessions. A vented metal exoskeleton adds rigidity and allows hot air to escape toward case exhaust. The OC mode runs at 2595 MHz boost clock while default mode runs at 2565 MHz.

PCIe 4.0 and display interface limits

The PCI Express 4.0 x16 link provides sufficient bandwidth for the GPU without saturating the bus at 1440p or 4K resolutions. Display outputs consist of one HDMI 2.1 port and three DisplayPort 1.4a connectors supporting up to 7680 x 4320 resolution across four monitors. HDCP 2.2 is supported for protected content playback. The card occupies 3.15 slots and measures 301 mm in length, requiring a compatible ATX case.
