The Axiom EV100 is a 1.92 TB enterprise solid state drive built for read-intensive workloads in data centre environments. It uses a 3.5 inch form factor with a SATA 600 interface to deliver consistent throughput for servers that prioritise high-capacity storage and low-latency access around the clock.
Hot-swap 3.5 inch SATA installation
The drive fits standard 3.5 inch hot-swap bays and connects through a single SATA 600 cable, so no special tools or adapters are required. Ensure the backplane and controller support SATA 600 speeds; older SATA 3 Gbps backplanes will limit the drive to half its rated throughput and can cause detection issues during rebuilds.
