Z370 system memory kit

This 16GB kit contains two 8GB DDR4 modules validated for ASUS and ASmobile Z370 motherboards including the Prime and ROG Strix series. Each stick runs at 2400 MHz with CL17 timings at 1.2V in an unbuffered non-ECC configuration. The 288-pin DIMMs install directly into the board's four memory slots.

Upgrade from 8GB or mismatched pairs

Replacing a single 8GB module or a mixed-capacity set with this matched pair enables dual-channel operation on the Z370 platform. The jump is most noticeable when moving from single-channel bandwidth or when the existing memory runs at a lower frequency than 2400 MHz. Systems already populated with identical 2400 MHz CL17 modules will see no change.

Headroom for 64GB maximum capacity

The motherboards support up to 64GB across four slots so this 16GB kit leaves two slots free for future expansion. At 2400 MHz CL17 the memory handles everyday multitasking and mainstream workloads comfortably. Demands for higher bandwidth or lower latency will require faster modules that the board and processor can also support.
