Compact business all-in-one

The Dell OptiPlex 7460 integrates a 23.8 inch 1920 x 1080 IPS display with an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8500 processor running at 3.0 GHz. Six cores and 8 GB of DDR4 memory handle office workloads and video calls. A 256 GB 2.5 inch SSD provides the boot drive. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed. USB keyboard and mouse are included. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 drives the screen. Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5 handle connectivity.

Desk-ready connectivity

The stand-alone design removes the need for a separate tower and monitor cable. One power cord runs the entire system. Three USB 3.1 Gen1 ports, one USB Type-C Gen2 port and two USB 3.1 Gen2 ports accept peripherals and external storage. A 3-in-1 SD card reader simplifies media transfer. A DisplayPort output allows a second screen. The HD TrueVision webcam and microphone are built into the top bezel for immediate conferencing.

Upgrade path for memory and storage

The SoDIMM 204-pin slots support up to 64 GB of DDR4 RAM for heavier multitasking. The 2.5 inch drive bay accepts larger SSDs or hard drives when 256 GB becomes tight. Integrated graphics limit 3D workloads, so buyers needing discrete GPU performance should look elsewhere. The all-in-one chassis does not support internal expansion cards. If the fixed display size or non-upgradable graphics do not suit the workflow, a traditional desktop with a separate monitor is the alternative.
