Dual 14-core Xeon E5-2683 v3 processors at 2.0 GHz and 512 GB of DDR4 ECC memory deliver the compute density needed for databases, virtual desktop infrastructure and data-warehouse nodes. It is built for organisations that need high local capacity alongside strong multi-threaded performance.

Twelve-gigabit SAS controller

The PERC H730 controller provides 12 Gb/s SAS and SATA connectivity with 1 GB cache and battery backup, supporting RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. A daughter card adds two 1 GbE and two 10 Gb SFP+ ports for flexible uplink choices. The 24 DIMM slots top out at 1.5 TB, so memory expansion beyond the factory 512 GB requires additional registered ECC DDR4 modules.

Rails and bezel included.

Tool-less sliding rails and a front bezel ship with the unit, so rack mounting is straightforward for a single technician.
