It is aimed at IT teams that need dense compute for hypervisor hosts, database nodes or high-performance application tiers. The system arrives new with firmware updated and all components tested.

Eight-bay 2.5-inch chassis

The front panel holds eight 2.5-inch drive bays populated by 300 GB 10K SAS disks behind an H730P RAID controller. Dual 1100 W power supplies provide redundancy, while the integrated Intel X550 network daughter card delivers two 10 Gb RJ45 and two 1 Gb RJ45 ports. Remote management is handled by iDRAC9 Enterprise, and the box includes bezel, rails and power cords.

64 GB DDR4 across four DIMM slots determines
