Dual Xeon Platinum 8260L Server

The Dell PowerEdge R740 is a 2U rack-mount server built for virtualisation, database and compute workloads. It ships with two Intel Xeon Platinum 8260L processors running at 2.4 GHz, each providing 24 cores and 35.75 MB cache. Thirty-two gigabytes of DDR4 ECC registered memory are installed across two 16 GB modules. The chassis supports up to eight 3.5-inch SATA drive bays.

PERC H730P RAID controller

Storage is managed by a Dell PERC H730P RAID controller connected through the SATA interface. The controller supports hardware RAID levels for redundancy and performance.
