Each CPU delivers twelve cores at 2.6 GHz with 19.25 MB cache, while 1.5 TB of DDR4 ECC registered memory supports memory-intensive workloads. The PERC H730P RAID controller manages storage arrays and a dual-port 10 GbE 562T adapter handles network traffic. This configuration ships without drives so storage can be tailored to the application.

Dual 1100 W supplies and iDRAC9

Two redundant 1100 W power supplies share the load and keep the system running if one unit fails. The integrated Dell Remote Access Controller 9 with Enterprise licence provides out-of-band management, telemetry and virtual console access over a dedicated network link. Firmware is updated to the latest stable release and every unit completes a full burn-in test before it leaves the facility. Acoustic output and thermal behaviour follow the standard profile for a fully populated 2U rack server.

Because no drives are installed, buyers choose the exact mix of SATA SSDs or HDDs the workload demands up to the twenty-four-bay limit.
