64 GB DDR4 ECC memory and 24-bay 2.5" storage

Installed memory is 64 GB of DDR4 2666 MHz registered ECC across four 16 GB modules, with 24 DIMM slots allowing expansion to 3 TB. The Dell PERC H730P 2 GB controller manages 24 installed 400 GB SATA SSDs in a 12 Gb/s SAS/SATA backplane, supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 plus pass-through. Storage headroom ends when all 24 drive bays are populated.

Dual 1100 W platinum power supplies

Redundant hot-swap 1100 watt platinum-efficiency power supplies provide the single specification that decides deployment suitability: if the rack cannot deliver redundant 1100 W feeds, the server will not meet its power design. The unit includes iDRAC 9 Enterprise remote management, an Intel X520/I350 quad-port network daughter card with two 1 GbE and two 10 Gb SFP+ links, plus ready rails and front bezel.
