Enterprise rack server

The Dell PowerEdge R750 is a 2U rack server built for data-intensive enterprise workloads such as databases, analytics and high-performance computing. It ships with dual Intel Xeon Gold 6330 processors, each running at 2.0 GHz with 28 cores, and 512 GB of DDR4 2933 MHz registered ECC memory across 16 DIMM slots. The platform supports up to two processors and a maximum of 2 TB of memory for future expansion. Redundant hot-swap power supplies and integrated iDRAC 9 Enterprise management simplify data-centre operations.

Storage capacity and RAID

Twelve front-accessible 3.5-inch trays accept SATA and SAS hard drives or solid-state drives, providing high-density internal storage. The Dell PERC H755 controller with 8 GB of non-volatile cache and a battery backs RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60, protecting data during unexpected power loss. A Broadcom 5720 quad-port 1 GbE OCP 3.0 network adapter supplies four copper Ethernet links for standard connectivity. The server includes ready rails and a front bezel for immediate rack installation.

Dual 1400 watt platinum-efficiency power supplies deliver redundant power with hot-swap replacement, reducing downtime during maintenance. The 2U chassis uses Dell's 15th generation thermal design to move air efficiently across the processors, memory and storage bays under typical enterprise loads.
