Tool-less rails and hot-swap components simplify

Ready Rails and a front bezel are included for quick rack mounting. All eight 2.5-inch drive bays and both 1600 W platinum power supplies are hot-swappable, so failed drives or PSUs can be replaced without downtime. The PERC H730P controller battery protects cached writes during power loss. Buyers without 10 GbE SFP+ switching infrastructure cannot use the X520 ports at full speed.

3.2 TB of enterprise SATA SSD storage

Eight 400 GB SATA SSDs deliver 3.2 TB raw capacity behind the H730P controller, which supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 plus pass-through.
