Torrent E-ATX mid-tower

The Fractal Design Torrent is a steel ATX mid-tower finished in black without a side window. It accepts E-ATX, ATX, mATX, ITX, SSI-EEB and SSI-CEB motherboards and ships with five PWM fans for high airflow. Front I/O provides two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port and two audio jacks. Dust filters sit at the bottom and front.

Open grille and 180 mm intake

An open front grille feeds two included 180 x 38 mm Dynamic GP-18 fans that pull air straight to the GPU. Three pre-installed 140 mm Dynamic GP-14 fans at the bottom exhaust heat downward. The layout supports front radiators up to 420 mm including 360 x 180 mm, rear radiators up to 140 mm and bottom radiators up to 420 mm in push-pull. Two 3.5-inch and four 2.5-inch drive bays are included.

Sustained load behaviour

The bottom-to-front airflow path keeps GPU temperatures steady during long renders or compute workloads. PWM control lets all five fans ramp together without sudden speed spikes. Removable top bezel and routing clips with straps keep cables clear of the intake so airflow remains consistent over hours of continuous operation.
