The GIGABYTE B450M S2H is an AMD B450 motherboard built for socket AM4 processors. It accepts Ryzen 1st and 2nd generation CPUs, plus Athlon APUs with integrated Radeon graphics. Two DDR4 slots support up to 32 GB in dual-channel mode at speeds up to 3200 MT/s when overclocked. Sustained thermal behaviour

The board uses a 128 Mbit AMI UEFI BIOS with hardware monitoring for voltage, temperature and fan speed. Fan headers adjust speed based on thermal load, so airflow scales with demand rather than running at a fixed rate. Overheating and fan-fail warnings are exposed to the operating system, allowing software to react before throttling occurs.
