The GIGABYTE B650 AORUS ELITE AX is an ATX motherboard built for AMD Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors on the AM5 socket. It targets builders who want a current-generation platform with PCIe 5.0 storage support and high-speed memory headroom without moving to the flagship chipset tier.

128GB Dual-Channel Capacity

Four 288-pin slots accept DDR5 modules up to 32GB each for a 128GB maximum in dual-channel mode. Speeds run from 4400 through 6600 MHz with OC profiles and AMD EXPO or Intel XMP 3.0 support. The top M.2 socket connects through CPU lanes at PCIe 5.0 x4 for 25110 or 2280 drives; a second CPU-attached socket and two chipset sockets run at PCIe 4.0 x4. Four SATA 6Gb/s ports and RAID 0, 1, 10 support round out the storage options.

14+2+1 Phase VRM with Heatpipe

A twin 14+2+1 phase digital VRM uses 70A power stages on an 8-layer 2X copper PCB to feed multi-core CPUs under sustained load. Fully covered MOSFET heatsinks are joined by a 6mm heatpipe, while M.2 Thermal Guards cover the primary slots. Rear I/O includes a USB 3.2 Gen2x2 Type-C port, 2.5GbE LAN, Wi-Fi 6E and 7.1-channel Realtek audio. Q-Flash Plus enables BIOS updates without a CPU installed.
