Internal DVD writer for duplication towers
The Hitachi-LG GHD3N is a half-height 5.25-inch DVD burner built for internal SATA installation in PC duplicator towers. It writes DVD±R at 16X and CD-R at 48X while reading DVD-ROM at 16X and CD-ROM at 48X. The tray mechanism is rated for 30000 cycles.
Bare drive with M-DISC support
The package contains only the bare drive without cables, mounting hardware or burning software. M-DISC compatibility allows archival recording on supported media for long-term data preservation. System integrators must supply their own SATA data and power connections.
SATA interface and physical limits
The SATA connection provides standard internal bandwidth for optical media speeds. The drive measures 5.75 inches wide, 1.63 inches high and 6.70 inches deep with the tray closed; the tray extends 61 millimetres when open. Total set length reaches 300 millimetres with the tray fully extended.
