The HP DL380 Gen10 2U rackmount system ships with two Intel Xeon Gold 6152 processors running at 2.10 GHz, each providing 22 cores for a total of 44 cores. Thirty-two gigabytes of DDR4 memory and eight 1.92 TB SATA SSDs are installed, making the platform ready for virtualization, database, and backup workloads. An integrated GPU handles basic display output without occupying a PCIe slot. The P408i-a SAS controller manages the drive array.

Verify rack space power and networking

Confirm the cabinet can accept a 2U rackmount chassis and that the facility provides sufficient power and cooling for a 60 kg unit. Check that the 331 quad-port 1 Gb Ethernet adapter matches the available switch ports and cabling. Ensure the DDR4 memory type aligns with any planned expansion up to the 3 TB maximum. No operating system is included, so licences and installation media must be prepared separately.

Enterprise drive bays

Eight 2.5-inch drive bays are populated with enterprise SATA SSDs behind the P408i-a controller, allowing hot-swap replacement and RAID configuration without downtime. Front-panel LEDs for power, Ethernet, and USB give immediate status visibility. The integrated graphics and quad-port NIC reduce the need for extra add-in cards, leaving expansion slots free for future I/O. The server ships tested and certified for production deployment.
