The platform supports a second Xeon E5-2600 v3 or v4 processor to reach up to 36 total cores and 1 TB of DDR4 across 16 DIMM slots. The eight 2.5-inch drive bays accept additional SAS or SATA drives, and an optional universal media bay can replace two bays for optical or backup media. Dual hot-swap 550 W power supplies deliver N+N redundancy, keeping the server online during a module failure or maintenance swap. The Matrox G200 graphics subsystem handles remote management consoles without adding thermal load.
