The HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9 is a 1U rack server built for compute-dense workloads. It ships with two twelve-core Xeon E5-2670 v3 processors running at 2.3 GHz, delivering 24 physical cores and 48 threads. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 ECC registered memory are installed across 24 DIMM slots. The Smart HBA H240ar controller provides 12 Gb SAS and 6 Gb SATA connectivity with RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 support. Dual 500 W redundant hot-swap power supplies are included.

Four LFF bays with H240ar RAID controller

The chassis provides four large form factor drive bays populated with trays and screws, but no drives are included. The onboard Smart HBA H240ar handles RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 across SAS and SATA media. Embedded networking uses a four-port 1 Gb 331i adapter. Video output is provided by a Matrox G200 chip with 16 MB memory. No optical drive or operating system is supplied.
