It ships with a single eight-core Xeon E5-2630 v3 processor running at 2.4 GHz and 48 GB of DDR4 ECC memory. The platform supports a second CPU for up to 36 total cores when the workload grows.

48 GB DDR4 installed with 24 DIMM slots

Memory runs at up to 2400 MT/s depending on the processor, and the board provides 24 slots for ECC registered modules. The current 48 GB configuration suits virtualisation hosts and database nodes that fit in that footprint. Adding a second processor unlocks the remaining 12 slots and raises the ceiling to 3 TB for larger datasets.

Smart Array P440 with 4 GB FBWC and 24 SFF bays

The RAID controller supports levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 with flash-backed write cache for data protection during power loss. Twenty-four 2.5-inch drive trays with screws are included, while the rear cage option adds two more SFF bays. Dual 500 W hot-swap supplies keep the system running through a single unit failure.
