The HP Z2 G4 Mid-Tower Workstation targets engineers, designers and analysts who need certified professional graphics and large memory capacity in a standard business desktop form factor. It ships with an Intel Core i5-9500 six-core processor, 64GB of DDR4 2666MHz memory and an NVIDIA Quadro P5000 16GB GDDR5X card. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and digitally activated.

Mid-tower chassis with tool-less access

The mid-tower case provides tool-less entry to the interior for memory, storage and graphics upgrades. Four DIMM slots are populated with 4x 16GB unbuffered DDR4 modules, leaving no free slots for expansion without removing existing sticks. The 500W 90% efficient power supply uses proprietary connectors, so aftermarket PSU swaps require adapter cables. Front-panel USB and audio headers are standard layout.

500GB NVMe boot drive and 16GB GPU memory

The 500GB M.2 NVMe SSD handles the operating system and active project files, while the Quadro P5000's 16GB GDDR5X frame buffer supports large assemblies, 4K textures and multi-display setups across four DisplayPort 1.4 and one DVI-D DL outputs. System memory maxes at 128GB, so heavy simulation or rendering workloads that exceed 64GB will require a full module replacement. No 3.5-inch hard-drive bays are populated.
