The Lenovo Thinkpad T14 Gen 2 is a new business laptop equipped with an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor, 48GB DDR4 memory and a 1TB PCIe SSD. It runs Linux Mint 20 Cinnamon out of the box. The 14.0 inch Full HD IPS display offers a 1920x1080 resolution without touchscreen support.

Connectivity bundle for office workflows

Two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, two USB-A 3.2 Gen1 ports, HDMI, a micro SD reader and a Gigabit Ethernet jack cover docks, monitors and wired networks. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 handle wireless peripherals. A 720p webcam and combo audio jack support video calls. The 65W power supply and 50WHr battery are included.

Standard chassis fits common bags

At 12.9 x 8.9 x 0.70 inches and 3.23lb the unit slides into typical 14 inch sleeves without forcing. RAM is soldered so the 48GB capacity cannot be changed later. The SSD uses a standard M.2 slot for future storage upgrades. Linux Mint 20 Cinnamon installs drivers automatically; proprietary Wi-Fi firmware is the only common post-install step.
