This bracket mounts four 2.5" SATA hard drives or solid-state drives into one standard external 5.25" bay. It accepts drives between 7 mm and 9.5 mm in height and uses a tool-less mechanism with an integrated stabiliser to secure each unit. The cage can also serve as a stackable rack for organising spare drives outside a case.

Suits builders adding multiple SATA drives

Ideal for users who want high-density SATA storage without occupying 3.5" internal bays. The tool-less design speeds up swaps and maintenance. Not suited for systems lacking a 5.25" front opening, for 3.5" drive installations, or for M.2 and PCIe storage formats that this bracket does not support.

Drive height range 7 mm to 9.5 mm

This specification determines whether your 2.5" SATA drives will fit securely. Measure each drive before purchase; units thinner than 7 mm or thicker than 9.5 mm cannot be held by the stabiliser. The bay width and tool-less latch are fixed, so height compatibility is the single deciding factor.
