Noctua
Slim 92×14 mm PWM fan delivers 29.72 CFM at 2200 RPM while staying at 19.9 dB(A), with a 500 RPM minimum and included Low-Noise Adaptor
Model PWM
Le versioni barrate esistono, ma non sono disponibili qui.
The NF-A9x14 PWM is a 92mm square case fan with a 14mm low-profile frame, designed for space-restricted builds such as low-profile CPU coolers and compact cases. It uses a 4-pin PWM connector for automatic speed control and runs on 12V power. The SSO2 bearing and custom PWM IC with SCD provide smooth operation and a rated MTTF of 150000 hours.
At full 2200 RPM the fan delivers 29.72 CFM airflow at 19.9 dB(A) acoustical noise. Using the supplied Low-Noise Adaptor limits speed to 1700 RPM, reducing airflow to 22.42 CFM and noise to 13.5 dB(A). PWM control allows a minimum speed of 500 RPM for near-silent idle operation. The AAO frame with Stepped Inlet Design and Inner Surface Microstructures improves flow efficiency while suppressing vortex noise.
The package includes a Low-Noise Adaptor for reduced maximum speed, a 30cm extension cable and a 4-pin Y-cable that lets two PWM fans share one motherboard header. Four vibration-compensators and four fan screws provide decoupled mounting. These items enable flexible cable routing, quieter operation and dual-fan setups without extra purchases.

Mount the fan using the four supplied vibration-compensators instead of the screws alone; they isolate the 14mm frame from the case and prevent resonant noise.
The SSO2 bearing is rated for more than 150000 hours MTTF and is sealed for life, so no lubrication or bearing service is required during normal use.
At maximum speed the acoustical noise reaches 19.9 dB(A), which is the practical ceiling before most builders switch to the Low-Noise Adaptor for 13.5 dB(A).
