The Panasonic Toughbook CF-20 is a new fully rugged laptop that detaches into a 10.1-inch tablet. It targets field workers who need MIL-STD-810G and IP65 durability in a 3.9-pound magnesium alloy chassis. The built-in handle doubles as a kickstand for flexible job-site use. It ships with a digitizer pen and power adapter.

LTE Band 14 and Wi-Fi constraints

Mobile broadband relies on the EM7511 modem supporting FirstNet Band 14 for priority responder traffic. Wireless LAN is limited to 802.11a/b/g/n with Bluetooth 4.1 for peripheral connections. Wired networking tops out at 1000Mbps over the single LAN port. No newer Wi-Fi standards or faster Ethernet are present.

Soldered 16GB memory ceiling

System memory is fixed at 16GB with no expansion slots available. The Intel Core m5-6Y57 processor and Intel HD Graphics 515 share this pool for all workloads. Buyers who need more RAM for virtual machines or heavy multitasking cannot upgrade this unit. The 2TB SSD is the only user-replaceable storage component.
