The Samsung 870 QVO 2TB is a 2.5 inch internal solid state drive built for consumer desktops and laptops that use a standard SATA III connection. It uses Samsung 4-bit QLC V-NAND and an MKX controller to deliver up to 560 MBps sequential read and 530 MBps sequential write speeds.

Samsung Magician software included

The bundled Samsung Magician software provides tools to manage the drive, monitor health and status, and keep firmware current. It lets users enable AES 256-bit full disk encryption with TCG/Opal V2.0 and IEEE1667 support without additional licences.

7mm metal case with SATA connectors

The 7.00mm high metal enclosure fits 2.5 inch drive bays in both desktops and laptops. Standard SATA data and power connectors allow direct installation without adapters, while 30 mW idle and 3.0 W active write power keep thermal load low.
