It is suited for content delivery, analytics and archival tiers where write cycles are low.
PCIe 4.0 x4 interface
The PCI-Express 4.0 x4 connection is the single specification that determines compatibility. The host system must provide a U.2 backplane or adapter wired for four lanes of PCIe 4.0 to achieve the rated 7000 MBps sequential read and 3600 MBps sequential write.
