Solidigm D7-P5520 1.92TB U.2 15mm enterprise SSD
This enterprise solid-state drive uses a U.2 15mm form factor with a PCIe 4.0 x4 interface and 144L TLC 3D NAND. It delivers up to 5300 MBps sequential read and 1900 MBps sequential write speeds with 700000 IOPS random read and 114000 IOPS random write performance. Rated at 3.5 PBW endurance and 2000000 hours MTBF, it includes FIPS security validation for data centre deployments.
Suited for servers needing high read throughput
Workloads that demand higher sustained write bandwidth or greater write endurance than 3.5 PBW should evaluate alternative drives. Systems limited to PCIe 3.0 slots will not realise the full 5300 MBps read capability. Buyers requiring a 2.5mm or 7mm height drive cannot use this 15mm module.
PCIe 4.0 x4 interface with 144L TLC 3D NAND
The drive connects via a U.2 connector using four lanes of PCIe 4.0, enabling the stated 5300 MBps read and 1900 MBps write peaks. Active power draw reaches 13W while idle consumption is 5W. Physical dimensions conform to the 15mm U.2 standard at 165g weight, so the host chassis must accept a 15mm drive bay.
