The Stellapex Bitaxe Gamma 602 is a palm-sized SHA-256 ASIC miner built around a single BM1370 chip. It delivers 1.8 TH/s at 35 W with an efficiency of 0.019 J/GH, making it suitable for hobbyists, developers and anyone learning solo mining on BTC, BCH, BSV or XEC. The unit runs on 5 V USB-C power, connects over 2.4 GHz WiFi and ships with open-source AxeOS firmware.

Step up from USB stick miners

Entry-level USB miners typically hash well below 1 TH/s and struggle to hit a single share on modern difficulty. The Gamma 602 replaces those devices with a 1.7 to 1.8 TH/s stock rate and a 15 J/TH efficiency figure taken from the same BM1370 silicon used in industrial S21 Pro rigs. The jump is worth it when you want measurable pool contribution or solo lottery tickets without a noisy rackmount chassis.

One chip, 35 watts, quiet desk operation

A custom pin-fin heatsink and 40 mm fan keep the ASIC under 40 dB at 5 to 45 °C ambient. Stock firmware targets 1.8 TH/s at 35 W; lowering frequency can drop draw toward 18 W for even quieter overnight runs. Optional MOSFET heatsinks enable overclocking to 1.84 TH/s. The 0.91-inch OLED shows live hashrate, temperature and pool status, while the browser dashboard handles remote tuning and pool switching from any device on the network.
