The Synology RS3626xs is a 2U rackmount network-attached storage server built for enterprise workloads. It ships fully assembled with twelve 4 TB enterprise drives providing 48 TB of raw capacity and a Xeon D-1726 processor for demanding applications.
Capacity and headroom for business workloads
The unit includes 8 GB of DDR4 ECC memory expandable to 48 GB and 800 GB of enterprise SSD cache across two 400 GB drives. Sequential throughput reaches 6 300 MB/s read and 3 700 MB/s write under vendor test conditions while twelve drive bays support 3.5-inch SATA HDDs or 2.5-inch SATA SSDs.
Two 10GbE ports and PCIe Gen 4 expansion
Dual integrated 10 GbE RJ-45 ports support link aggregation and failover for high-bandwidth connectivity. Two PCIe Gen 4 x8 slots allow adding compatible network adapters or additional caching hardware as requirements grow.
