Compact rackmount NAS for edge and branch offices
The Synology RS826RP+ is a 1U rackmount NAS built for edge deployments, branch offices and remote business workloads. A quad-core AMD Ryzen V1500B processor at 2.2 GHz powers the system alongside 4GB DDR4 RAM. Four 6TB Synology Plus drives provide 24TB raw storage, while two 400GB enterprise SSDs deliver 800GB cache for reduced latency and higher IOPS.
Four 1GbE ports and PCIe Gen3 expansion slot
Four RJ-45 10/100/1000M ports support Link Aggregation for bandwidth increase, load balancing and automatic failover. Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports allow direct peripheral attachment. Four hot-swappable bays accept 3.5-inch SATA hard drives and 2.5-inch SATA SSDs. A PCIe Gen3 slot enables optional 10GbE or 25GbE adapters, an M.2 SSD adapter or a combined M.2 and 10GbE card. One RX426 expansion unit can be added for eight total bays and up to 192TB raw capacity.
Redundant power supply in 1U depth
Dual redundant power supplies operate on 100-240 VAC at 50/60 Hz within a 44 mm high chassis rated for 0°C to 35°C and 5-95% relative humidity. The unit weighs 8.0 kg and measures 44 mm × 480 mm × 492.6 mm. Web-based management with DHCP client simplifies deployment. Front LEDs show power, drive and LAN status.
