Registered ECC limits for DDR4 2666

Registered DIMMs add a clock cycle of buffering that stabilises heavy memory loads but prevents use in consumer desktop boards that expect unbuffered modules. ECC functionality only activates on platforms with a compatible memory controller; otherwise the module operates as non-ECC registered memory. Mixing registered and unbuffered DIMMs is not supported.
